Ghanaian forward Albert Adomah helped Nottingham Forest to advance into the third round of the Carabao Cup following their 3-0 demolishing of rivals Derby County on Tuesday.

The former Aston Villa man gave the winners the lead at the City Ground on the 25th minute following good teamwork that involved Rafa Mir and Lolley.

The two combined beautifully before setting up a good chance for Adomah to tap home from close range.

Later in the game, the former Black Stars winger assisted Lolley to get on the scoresheet to give the Reds a two goals cushion over the Rams.

Derby Country tried to get back into the game but their hopes were thwarted when substitute Joao Carvalho scored the third goal for Nottingham Forest.

Adomah impressed throughout the match to give manager Sabri Lamouchi his first derby win.
