Two additional goals from Elizabeth Addo and Grace Asantewaa in the second half condemned Kenya to the defeat even though the losers grabbed a consolation in the dying minutes of the match.

Ghana’s win means she has progressed out of Group B and will now face Romania in the third-place playoff match.
