Ghanaian attacker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom was at his best earlier today where he grabbed the winning goal for his Red Star Belgrade side in their 1-0 win over Macva in the Round of 16 of the Serbian Cup.
The prolific attacker was handed a starting role and did not disappoint his manager. Following an hour of football action of no goals, Yiadom popped up on the 66th minute to shoot his side into the lead.
The Serbian giants maintained the lead and finished as deserved 1-0 winners against Macva.
Red Star has now progressed into the next round with 25-year-old Boakye-Yiadom confident of banging in more goals in subsequent matches.
He will be in action this weekend when his side plays against Radnicki Nis in the Serbian top-flight league.
