Charles Sagoe Jr, a Ghanaian winger born in England, is thrilled to have trained with the Arsenal senior side ahead of their Premier League match against Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta faces a dilemma as he prepares his team for the match amid injury concerns stemming from their midweek match against Sporting Lisbon. To fill the gaps left by the injured players, Arteta has turned to some of the younger players, including Sagoe Jr.

Sagoe Jr was seen participating in Arsenal's training ahead of the crucial clash with Crystal Palace. The 18-year-old has impressed Reiss Nelson, who recently praised him and said that the young winger has all the qualities to succeed at Arsenal.

Sagoe Jr expressed his appreciation on social media for the opportunity to train with the senior team.

"Thankful for the opportunities God gives me everyday!" he posted on Twitter.

This season, Sagoe Jr has played 19 games for Arsenal's U-21 team, contributing four goals and two assists.
