Ghana international, Daniel Amartey is set to keep his place in the first eleven of Leicester City this weekend when the team takes on Manchester City in the English Premier League.

The defender returned to his club last weekend after featuring for the Black Stars of Ghana in a World Cup qualifying match against Ethiopia.

Having put up an outstanding performance, Daniel Amartey in the second half of that match went down after making a timely interception and was seen shouting for medical attention.

In what looked like he had pulled a hamstring, the defender played through the pain to help Ghana secure the vital win.

After returning to Leicester City right after the match, there were concerns he could miss this weekend’s clash against league champions Manchester City.

However, throughout this week, he has regained full fitness and has been in top shape.

He is hence expected to be named in the team’s starting eleven on Saturday when they face the Champions at the King Power Stadium.
