Ghana's Derrick Sasraku bags first Champions League goal for Club Africain

Ghanaian striker Derrick Sasraku was on target for Club Africain in the CAF Champions League on Tuesday evening.

The 24-year-old opened his account for the Tunisian giants as they progressed to the next round of the competition after thrashing Rwandan side APR FC 3-1 in the second league tie at the Stade El Menzah.

Club Africain deservingly took lead on the 14th minute via Tunisia forward Bilel Khefifi strike after largely dominating the early stages of the game but Muhadjir Hakizimana levelled for the visitors on the 28th minute via penalty.

However, the Tunisian side restored their lead on the 64th minute through Sasraku's superb finish before an own goal from Emmanuel Imanishimwe sealed a comfortable win for Club Africain.

He played the full throttle of an entertaining game and was difficult to mark as the defensemen of APR FC struggled with his pace and trickery.

He joined the Tunisian club on a free transfer after parting ways with Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars in August.
