Ghana's Eugene Ansah bags brace for Hapoel Ra’anana in Israeli top-flight

Ghanaian forward Eugene Ansah bagged a brace for Hapoel Ra’anana as they walloped Hapoel Beer-Sheva 3-1 in the Isreali top-flight on Saturday.

The 24-year-old, who was making his third appearance of the season for his new club, scored in the 66th and 77th minutes of the game to put the hosts in the lead coming from a goal down.

Or Dasa scored in the additional time to seal the victory for Hapoel Ra’anana as they lie 9th on the league log.

Ansah joined Hapoel Ra’anana in the ongoing January transfer window after spending two seasons with Beitar Tel Aviv Ramla.

Before their encounter against Hapoel Beer-Sheva, Eugene Ansah had appeared in 2 matches this season in Israeli Premier League, playing a total of 165 minutes. Ansah scores an average of 1.09 goals for every 90 minutes that he's on the pitch.

He scored a total of 2 goals so far in the season in the league, which places him at 3rd in the Hapoel Ra'anana squad's Top Scorers list.
