Ghana's High Commission to Australia promises to support Black Princesses ahead of world cup

Ghana's High Commissioner to Australia Mrs Mercy Debrah-Karikari has promised to give the Black Princesses the needed support to excel in Papua New Guinea. The Female Under 20 team, the Princesses are in Kent, Australia preparing for the FIFA U-20 Women's world cup which begins on November 13.

Ahead of their opener against New Zealand on 14th of November the team has been preparing feverishly in Australia where they were humbly received by Ghana's High Commissioner to the Asian country.

"We are from the High commission here in Australia. We are here to welcome you."Mrs Debrah said. "We are happy with the preparations you are putting in. We are motivating you guys to go for the ultimate and we will support and provide you with all your needs,"she added.

"We want you to make the country proud and whatever we can we will do for you to excel." Ghana is in Group C together with New Zealand, whom they will play in the opener before France and the United States.
