Ghana’s Joseph Aidoo remains the second most used player at Celta Vigo

At the end of the first half of the 2019/2020 Spanish La Liga season, Ghanaian international Joseph Aidoo has emerged as the second most used player at Celta Vigo.

The center-back joined the club for a transfer fee of 4 million Euros from Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk.

Since his arrival in Spain, he has been an inspiration at the back for Celta Vigo and has subsequently established himself as one of their best players.

At the end of the first half of the La Liga season, statistics available indicate that Joseph Aidoo was the second most used player at the club. He played as many as 17 matches [1,502 minutes] and missed just one match which was as a result of injury.

Club poster boy Iago Aspas played in all La Liga matches [1,617 minutes] for the side in the first round and emerged as the most used player.

For the most important player for Vigo, brilliant goalkeeper Rubén Blanco came up on top of the list.

Joseph Aidoo will hope to continue his fine form for Celta Vigo in the second half of the Spanish La Liga season.
