Ghana’s Joseph Paintsil excited after netting brace to help MKE Ankaragucu avoid defeat at Besiktas

Ghanaian international, Joseph Paintsil has expressed his delight after netting a second-half brace to help his MKE Ankaragucu outfit to draw 2-2 with Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig.

The exciting attacker was in action for his team on Saturday when they played as a guest to the Black Eagles at the Vodafone Arena.

In a game where two own goals from defender Ante Kulušić had Besiktas in a comfortable lead before the hour mark, a confident Joseph Paintsil scored twice from the penalty spot to earn a point for his team at the end of the contest.

Taking to his Twitter page after the game, the former Ghana U-23 star has commended his team for their fighting spirit as he shares his joy to his goals.

“Great fighting spirit by the entire team. Glad to be on the scoresheet. We go again next time,” Paintsil said in a post on his Twitter.

This season, the Ghanaian asset has made 27 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig and has nine goals to his name.
