Ghana's K.P Boateng features in Barcelona's goalless draw with Huesca

Ghana international Kevin Prince Boateng featured for Barcelona in their 0-0 draw with Huesca in the La Liga on Saturday.

The 31-year-old played his first full game for the club after he was named in the starting XI by manager Ernesto Valverde who rested most of his key players including Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Sergio Bosquets.

Four players were handed their La Liga debuts for the Blaugrana in an uneventful game.

Defenders Jean-Clair Todibo, Jeison Murillo and Moussa Wague and midfielder Riqui Puig all made their first league appearances for the La Liga champions.

French winger Malcom came close to grabbing the opener after his shot hit the post from a tight angle for Barca.

Barcelona will welcome Manchester United at Camp Nou in the second leg tie of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday and the Ghanaian international had the opportunity to taste full 90 minutes football for the first time since joining the Spanish giants in the January transfer on loan from Italian Serie A side Sassualo

Boateng has made his 3rd appearance for FC Barcelona since joining them on loan from US Sassuolo.
