Ghanaian youngster Kennedy Boateng is set to leave Austria side SV Reid in the summer transfer window.

Boateng has been one of the consistent performers for the club since joining them on an initial loan deal from LASK Linz.

Due to impressive displays, he has been linked with a move away from the Upper Austria region with a number of clubs in Europe reportedly interested in acquiring his services.

The 23-year-old was voted the second best player in the region at the prestigious Krone Sports Gala in Linz last week.

He was beaten to the top prize by LASK Linz captain Gernot Trauner after pulling 83,507 votes.

Kickerwahl Krone is an award for the best footballer in the Linz region for players in the top-flight and second-tier.

The highly-rated defender has made 11 appearances and scored one goal for SV Reid so far this season.
