Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah has urged his Inter Milan teammates to stay focused and work hard towards maintaining their form in the Serie A as they go into their opening match in the Uefa Champions League.
The club is currently top of the Italian top-flight league after keeping a 100% record after match week 3.
Following a 1-0 win against Udinese over the weekend, Antonio Conte’s men are turning attention to Europe’s elite competition which commences tomorrow.
Pitted in Group F, the Nerazzurri’s will open this year’s campaign in an exciting fixture against Slavia Prague at the Giuseppe Meazza.
Speaking in a post-match interview after helping Inter Milan beat Udinese on Saturday, Kwadwo Asamoah called on his teammates to continue working hard.
“We can’t sleep when we’re first in the standings, there’s work to be done. We have the game in three days, so we have to work to achieve our goals.”
