Black Stars midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah was in action for Champions Juventus who cruised to a 3-0 win over Pescara on Saturday.
The 27-year-old has been out of the Black stars for the past two years with injury and had not played for an entire duration of a game since September 2016.
He was expected to be out for 45 days after a knee sprain against Palermo in September.
But he made a quick recovery only to be side-lined once again after injuring himself after coming on as a late substitute against Sampdoria.
Asamoah was however handed a starting role in Juventus’ 3-0 win over Pescara on Saturday evening.
Goals from Sami Khedira, Mario Mandzukic and Hernanes sent Allegri's men to a comfortable three points which keep them in charge at the Serie A summit.
Kwadwo Asamoah lasted till the final whistle, an indication that the Ghanaian is back on track to earn a place in the Black Stars ahead of AFCON 2017.
