Ghana's Kwadwo Asamoah stars as Inter Milan lose to Juventus

Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah was in action for Inter Milan as they lost for the first time this season against Juventus in the Serie A at the San Siro on Sunday.

Asamoah came up against his former club but ended up on the losing side following a 2-1 defeat, which ruined the Nerazzurri's 100% start to the season.

The 29-year-old, who was making his sixth appearance in the Serie A lasted the entire duration of the game.

He made three tackles, three clearances and one interception at left wing-back. The Ghana international also made 55 passes which was the third highest total in the Inter shirt, behind Marcelo Brozovic and Stefan de Vrij.

Paulo Dybala gave Juventus an early lead before Lautaro Martinez bagged the equaliser from the penalty spot for the home side.

However, Gonzalo Higuain scored a late goal to seal all three points for the visitors as they go top of the league table with Inter Milan dropping to second spot.

The Ghanaian featured for Juventus between 2012 and 2018, scoring  five goals and registering 21 assists in 156 competitive appearances, lifting the Serie A six times, as well as the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana (three times each).
