In a thrilling showdown at the Helsinki Olympiastadion on Saturday afternoon, Ghanaian defender Mohammed Umar celebrated a crowning achievement as he helped secure a historic Finnish Cup victory for Ilves.

While he took on a pivotal role in their journey to the final, Umar found himself an unused substitute in the climactic match against FC Honka.

Nevertheless, his team's formidable performance culminated in a 2-1 triumph, marking Ilves' fourth Finnish Cup championship in a resounding display of skill and determination.
