Ghanaian youngster Richard Appiah has ruled out for the next six months after undergoing a successful knee surgery.

Appiah, 21, suffered an anterior cruciate ligament in the right knee while playing for his side Saint-George SA and he is likely to stay on the sideline until March next year.

He joined Saint-George in March from Laos club Champasak United.

He is a product of the famous Cheetah Academy.

Saint-George could however be looking to find a back-up attacker to replace the injured player until he returns from his setback.
