Ghana's Richard Gadze delighted to sign for Azerbaijan side Zira FK

Ghanaian striker Richard Gadze has expressed his delight after re-joining his former Zira FK ahead of the second round of the Azerbaijan Premier League.

Gadze penned a one-deal with with the Azerbaijan top flight with an option to extend the contract after passing his mandatory medicals and completing the formalities.

This will be the his second spell at the club having previously spent two seasons there before joining Voluntari FC of Romania in 2018.

Speaking in an interview with Sportsworldghana.com after rejoining Zari FC, he said: "I feel happy to return home to Zari FC and I am ready to again help the club excel well in the league."

"The reception so far has been very wonderful I must confess."

The former Ebusua Dwarfs forward has also had previous stints with Delhi Dynamos in India and Finish side HJK.

He will be hoping to rediscover his scoring form when the second round of the Azerbaijan Premier League kicks off.
