Currently, Maritzburg United are 13th on the league table after losing their opening two games to Golden Arrows at home and against Free State Stars in the 16-club league.

Pressure continues to mount on the former Wa All Stars goalie and his teammates as they look to secure their first three points of the season.

The Team of Choice also were defeated in front of their home fans by Cape Town City in the MTN 8 Cup competition meaning the former Wa All Stars goalkeeper has conceded five goals in just the first three games in all competition this season.

Ofori’s defence has particularly let him down but he knows he has to start keeping clean sheets to repeat his big season of 2017/18 that saw him compete for the award of best goalkeeper in the South Africa Premier League.
