Ghana's Sadat Karim eyes Swedish top-flight qualification with new club Halmstads BK

Ghana international Sadat Karim is targetting an early qualification with his new club Halmstads BK to the Swedish top-flight league at the end of the season.

Karim, 27 penned a two-year deal with HBK following his transfer from Landskrona Bois as a free agent after passing a mandatory medical at the just ended season.

The former AshantiGold SC forward has already set sights on qualifying his side to the Allsvenskan.

”I will work hard to make sure that the club goes up to Allsvenskan. It’s the biggest goal,” he said

The ex-Accra Hearts of Oak striker made 28 appearances and scored 11 goals, providing five assists for relegated side Landskrona Bois last season.

The goal poacher has scored a remarkable 70 goals in 109 matches since his move to Sweden in 2015.

Halmstad BK already have Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Boakye in their fold.

He has previously played for Real Tamale United, AshantiGold SC, Berekum Chelsea, Hearts of Oak, Inter Allies, BW 90 IF and KSF Prespa Birlik.
