Communications Director for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum has hinted that it is possible the second transfer window of the football season will be extended.
According to him, the uncertainty caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic could force the football governing body to give a grace period for clubs to do their business in the market and have ample time to register them as well.
"Player registration is still ongoing amid the pandemic but the EXCO will be meeting on that as well whether the time will be extended or not but that has not been firmed", Henry Asante Twum told Oyerepa FM.
The Coronavirus pandemic has caused the suspension of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season as it continues to have a toll on all activities.
The Ghana FA continues to monitor the situation on the grounds and will take a decision on the resumption of the season in due time.
