Ghana forward Yakubu Nassam Ibrahim scored for Hong Kong Rangers in their 3-2 comeback win over Resources Capital in the Hong Kong Sapling Cup on Sunday.

The visitors initially took control of the match with Ching Lee opening the scoring in the 5th minute, followed by Wang-Chu Chiu doubling the lead in the 29th minute.

Chi Lok Lau managed to reduce the deficit for the home side, making it 2-1 just before halftime.

Heading into the break, Resources Capital held a slender 2-1 advantage. However, Nassam Ibrahim became the driving force for Hong Kong Rangers in the second half.

In a stunning turnaround, the Ghanaian forward scored the equalizer in the 72nd minute, leveling the score at 2-2.

Showing remarkable determination, Nassam Ibrahim continued his heroics by netting the winning goal for his team in the 79th minute, securing the comeback victory just five minutes after equalizing.

The 26-year-old’s outstanding performance highlighted his goal-scoring prowess and played a crucial role in Hong Kong Rangers’ thrilling 3-2 triumph over Resources Capital in the Hong Kong Sapling Cup.
