Ghana's Yaw Yeboah picks up another Man-of-the-match award

Ghana and CD Numancia youngster  Yaw Yeboah has won another Man-of-the-Match award after a brilliant display in his side's 1-0 away defeat to Real Mallorca in the Spanish Segunda Division at the Estadio Iberostar on Sunday.

The 21-year-old has been a mainstay for the Spanish side since joining from Manchester City in the summer ad his eye-catching performances have so far earned him two man-of-the-match awards despite his side's poor form in the campaign this season.

Despite his team's failure to pick up a win in the game, Yeboah was adjudged the best player of the match after recording the best statistics above every player on the pitch.

He completed the most dribbles and created the highest number of chances in the match though their forwards failed to make it count on the score-sheet.

His displays have not only opened up the possibility of a transfer to a bigger club but is yet to gain the attention of Kwesi Appiah and the rest of his Black Stars technical team.

The former Lille OSC loanee's ability to operate on both flanks and as a trequartista where he has glittered for much of the campaign makes the former Lille OSC player an attractive option to Appiah.

On 18 July 2018, Yeboah penned a three-year deal with CD Numancia.

The highly-rated Ghanaian received his maiden call-up on 26 August 2016, for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualification match against Rwanda and a friendly against Russia.

He made the bench for the match against Russia, but failed to make an appearance.
