Goalkeeper Gideon Ahenkorah has expressed his delight after signing a new 2-year contract with Inter Allies Football Club (FC).
The shot-stopper joined the Capelli Boys from Berekum Chelsea last year on a 1-year deal to provide a squad boost for the 2019/2020 football season.
Due to his eye-catching exploits, he has been tied down to a new 2-year contract ahead of the start of the new season.
“We are happy to announce that goalkeeper Gideon Ahenkorah has extended his stay at the club for the next two years.
“The shot-stopper signed his new contract ahead of the upcoming campaign on Tuesday evening after his initial one-year deal expired.
“Having donned our colours last season, the experienced custodian will continue in a playing capacity as he prepares for his second consecutive season with us”, a statement from Inter Allies has announced today.
Speaking to the media team of Inter Allies, a delighted Gideon Ahenkorah says it was an easy decision to commit his future to the club.
“I’m delighted to sign a new contract. I didn’t have to think twice before making the decision to continue playing for this beautiful club and commit my future here", the goalkeeper said.
During the 2019/2020 season, he featured 8 times from 14 matches for the Capelli Boys.
