Ghanaian midfielder Gideon Jung returned to the starting line up of Hamburg in their 1-1 draw against SV Sandhausen.
The midfielder has had few appearances for side due to consistent injuries this season.
However, manager Dieter Hecking decided to start the 25-year old in the game against Sandhausen on Sunday.
Sandhausen opened the scoring in the 39th minute through forward Alexander Zhirov before Lukas Hinteseer leveled with 15 minutes remaining on the clock.
Jung lasted 59 minute in the game before being substituted by Andrien Fein.
