Gladson Awako claims that he has been given ‘spiritual’ directions as he nears Hearts of Oak return

Gladson Awako has revealed that he has been given spiritual guidance by a powerful man he refers to as Nii.

Awako, who joined the Phobians in August this year is yet to feature for the club.

After months of rumours, the midfielder is set to reunite with his Hearts of Oak teammates.

However, after pleading with fans of the club for forgiveness for his conduct, the former TP Mazembe star has suggested that he has been given spiritual guidance by a powerful man he describes as Nii.

“I want to thank Nii for all the support and guidance. Now I can say that everything is okay,” he said.

Awako was a member of the successful Ghana U20 side that won gold at the 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup in Egypt.

He has also won the CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup, and CAF Super Cup as well as several other trophies.
