Gladson Awako: I’m very happy to have extended my contract with Hearts of Oak

Hearts of Oak talisman, Gladson Awako has reacted to his contract extension deal with the club.

Speaking to the media team of the Phobians after inking the deal, the former Great Olympics captain expressed appreciation to the management of the club for the opportunity to continue.

According to him, he is delighted and will continue working hard to give his all to help Hearts of Oak.

“I am very happy to have extended my contract with this beautiful family. It's amazing because this is my childhood club and it is a club I have always wanted to play for before I quit football in future.

“With this opportunity, I will continue to work hard and promote the brand of our glorious club. Phoooobia! Masters,” Gladson Awako said as quoted by Heartsofoaksc.com.

The 31-year-old forward has signed a new contract with Hearts of Oak that will expire in 2024.

He is currently in the camp of the Black Galaxies and will be part of the squad that plays at the 2023 CHAN tournament.
