Moroccan goalkeeper, Yassin Bono made history at the ongoing 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Bono contributed strongly to Morocco's qualification for the semi-finals of the World Cup, in an achievement that had not been achieved for Arabs or Africans before, after defeating Portugal with a goal without a response, this evening, Saturday.

According to the "Opta" statistics, Bono, who played his 50th international match against Portugal became the first African goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet in 3 World Cup matches.

Bono scored clean sheets against the national teams of Croatia, Spain and Portugal.

Morocco will face France in the semifinals on Wednesday at Al-Bayt Stadium with kick-off scheduled at 19:00GMT.
