Ghanaian defender Godfred Donsah featured for Cercle Brugge over the weekend when they lost 2-1 to Royal Antwerp on Match Week 22 of the Belgian Pro League.
The player who can also play when deployed in a midfield role started the match for the host as one of the center backs as the team tried to get a win that will enhance their chances of escaping the relegation zone.
Cercle Brugge started off on a good note and took the lead after two minutes when Kevin Hoggas converted a penalty kick on the 2nd minute.
They could however not stay compact and conceded two goals at the end of the match, disappointingly recording another loss that has piled more pressure on them at the bottom of the standings.
Godfred Donsah lasted the entire duration of the match and though he played well, it was not enough to save his team from the defeat at the end of the day.
