Godsway Donyoh: Dynamo Dresden attacker laments over the idea of playing matches without spectators

Ghanaian international Godsway Donyoh has lamented over the idea of playing with his Dynamo Dresden side against Furth this weekend behind closed doors.

The German club will play against their matchday opponent in the 2. Bundesliga on Sunday at the Gluksgas Stadium on Matchday 26 of the ongoing 2019/2020 season.

On the match day, the two teams will play without fans at the stadium as a precautionary measure for the Coronavirus which has been declared as a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Speaking in an interview ahead of the match, Dynamo Dresden attacker Godsway Donyoh says it will not be fun without supporters at the stadium.

“We play not only because we love the game, but for the fans. It's no fun without them, it doesn't feel like professional football.

"It is not an advantage for Dynamo that the Lower Saxony have to give up their home advantage," because Dynamo fans are everywhere, come to every game and are louder than everyone others”, the 25-year-old Ghanaian said.
