The CEO of Division One side Hasaacas, Samuel Paa Kwesi Arbuah, believes that the government has not been doing enough with regards to football in the last three years.

Ghana’s national U17 and U20 female teams have been allowed to camp in preparation for their qualifies though the ban on contact sports is still in effect.

The local football, namely the Ghana Premier League and the Division one league has been suspended due to the pandemic and is expected to return in October.

In the last three years, Ghana football has seen a number of cancellations which has affected the popularity of the sport to locals.

In an interview with Beach FM, Arbuah said: “It should be a worrying concern to the government that under it we’ve not played football fully for the past 3 years but it’s been disappointing thus far from the government concerning football.”
