Government of Uganda releases $280,000 to FUFA for the remaining two World Cup qualifiers

The Cranes of Uganda have been handed a major boost ahead of their game against Ghana with a 1Billion shillings ($280,000).

The Uganda government released the money to the FA on Wednesday to prepare well for their remaining World Cup qualifiers against Ghana and Congo.

Uganda will host Ghana in Kampala on Saturday- a game they must win to keep their hopes of reaching the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The Cranes are second in Group E  with seven points, two points adrift leaders Egypt.
