The Porcupine Warriors last weekend dropped points and as a result, were overtaken on the league table by Hearts of Oak.
Keen on bouncing back with a win to reclaim their spot on the Ghana Premier League table, Asante Kotoko made efforts when they locked horns with Aduana Stars.
Despite making strides throughout 90 minutes, a performance that could be termed average only ended in a goalless stalemate against Aduana Stars.
Although the Reds get to go top of the Ghana Premier League table, a win for Hearts of Oak on Sunday afternoon will see the Phobians open a two-point gap over the Reds.
Meanwhile, Aduana Stars have moved to 7th on the log with 40 points.
