Legon Cities FC on Sunday displayed impressive form to ensure they defeated Aduana Stars 2-0 in the Ghana Premier League. The Royals since the start of the 2020/2021 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign have struggled to compete. However, after improving under head coach Bashir Hayford especially in the second round of the campaign, the team is making a strong case to survive relegation. At the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday, Legon Cities FC hosted defending champions Aduana Stars to battle for points on matchday 26 of the ongoing league campaign. Courtesy of goals from poster boy Jonah Attuquaye and Joseph Adjei in the 13th and 57th minutes respectively, Legon Cities FC have secured a very important 2-0 win against Aduana Stars.
