The Yellow and Mauve outfit today locked horns in a Week 18 encounter of the 2022/23 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.

Today’s game was played at the Tarkwa Akoon Community Park with both teams targeting a win to improve their respective standings on the league table.

In a game largely dominated by Medeama SC, the home side did enough in the first half to take the lead.

A well-taken strike from Nurudeen Abdulai in the 39th minute handed the team the advantage before the break.

Although Legon Cities FC would put up a good showing after recess in a bid to get something out of the match, the visitors could not score and had to succumb to a defeat at the end of the contest.

A second goal from Joshua Agyemang in the 71st minute sealed a 2-0 win for Medeama SC at full-time.
