Ghana Coach Avram Grant has revealed he will decide on selecting captain Asamoah Gyan for Sunday's quarterfinal clash with DR Congo after today's training session.

Asamoah Gyan suffered a thigh injury on Wednesday during Ghana's final group D game against Egypt and was feared to have been ruled out of the tournament.

However, after scans on the injury, it is reported that he can make it in time for the quarterfinal duel on Sunday.

Speaking to the press on Saturday ahead of the team's crucial game on Sunday, Grant revealed he is yet to decide on featuring Gyan for the quarterfinal game.

"We miss Baba in the first game and with Gyan's situation we will know after today's training." He said.

The Black Stars will take on DR Congo at Oyem on Sunday at 16:00 GMT for a place in the semifinals.
