Black Stars coach Avram Grant has chugged-out Norway-based midfielder Gilbert Koomson from his squad ahead of a must-win clash against the Pharaoh's of Egypt on November 13 in Alexandria.
The Sogndal midfielder made his debut last month against South Africa but was given only nine minutes to impress Grant.
It appears the Israeli was not impressed during his short stint on the pitch leading grant to give his place to Alhassan Wakaso of Rio Ave.
The 22-year old has made over 30 appearances in the Norwegian league and has 13 assists to his credit.
Koomson previously spoke of his desire to hold onto a permanent place in the team.
