Great Olympics players back Seth Hoffman to turn things around

Players of Great Olympics led by skipper Emmanuel Clottey have backed caretaker coach Seth Hoffman to turn things around after head coach Prince Kwoffie left the club following a poor start to the 2019/20 season.

Coach Kwoffie parted ways with the club after their 1-0 defeat to WAFA on matchday seven, leaving Seth Hoffman to lead the team.

The interim coach has been in charge of only two matches, winning one and losing the other.

He guided the team to beat struggling King Faisal 4-3 and suffered a home defeat to Eleven Wonders.

"I think Hoffman is a very good coach and he will help us. I get this feeling when I look at his training sessions and I believe he will help us," said Clottey.

"He has had to take over as head coach and so, we will need time to understand his way of playing the game but we cannot take all the time to do that.

"We are comfortable with him and we know what he can do and so, we need to take our training sessions seriously and we will see how things go."

Yours Truly was at the McDan Park at La on Tuesday to watch the Wonder Club training session.

Great Olympics aka Oly Gbo Gbo will play Legon Cities at the Accra Sports stadium on Friday night on matchday 10 of the Ghana Premier League.

It is a Vals Day match and football fans have been assured of entertainment from Wendy Shay.
