Great Olympics sue Hearts of Oak over Gladson Awako transfer

Great Olympics have sued their city-rivals and defending Ghana Premier League champions, Hearts of Oak over the transfer of Gladson Awako for breach of agreement over the deal.

The 30-year-old joined the Phobians on a two-year deal before the start of their Africa campaign which they have been eliminated from.

Hearts agreed to pay Awako’s transfer fee in two installments -  the first installment was on the 13th of September and the second was to be paid on October 2.

However, the club has has failed to pay the second installment of the agreement hence Great Olympics have sued them.

Below are the details of the law suit:

Hearts of Oak according to media reports agreed to pay an amount of $15,000 for the services of the attacking midfielder.

Awako has not featured for the Phobians so far this season. He excelled last season with seven goals and six assists as Great Olympics finished in a respectable 6th position.
