Gunners Defender Laurent Koscielny Insists He Is Happy at Arsenal Amid Exit Rumours

Arsenal defenderLaurent Koscielny has insisted that he is happy at Arsenal despite being linked with a move to German champions Bayern Munich.


The 31-year-old, who gave away a vital penalty in the 1-1 draw against rivals Tottenham, has just one year remaining on his current contract,leading to interest from the likes of Bayern Munich.

Talks over a new £90k-a-week contract have stalled, casting further doubt over the defender's future in north-London.


But now,Koscienly has revealed that there is 'no reason' for him to leave the club as he is happy with his levels of performance.


Speaking to Le10 Sport, he said:�My future? I work really well at the club, and they are also happy with my work so I don't see why there would be a reason to leave."

The Frenchmandid however refuse to completelyrule out a switch, claiming that 'it is always possible'.


He added:"Desire to travel? It is always possible, but at the moment I haven't bought a plane ticket.�


While it's unlikely that the towering defender will leave this January, speculation is rife over a potential summer-move, with several clubs reported to be interested.


Arsenal's draw with north-London rivalsTottenham leaves them in fourth, two points behind league-leaders Liverpool and three points above Sunday's opponents.
