Ghanaian international Hans Nunoo Sarpei has indicated that he hopes to gain promotion with Greuther Fürth at the end of the season to the German Bundesliga.
The midfielder joined the 2. Bundesliga club from Stuttgart before the 2019/2020 season and has enjoyed a good campaign so far.
Following the return of the football season in Germany in the midst of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, Hans Nunoo Mensah says he wants Greuther Fürth to maintain their form.
“Our only concern is to continue with our good form from where we left and to end the season on a good note, because we have played well this season, so we must keep it up”, he shared in an interview with getfootballnewsgermany.com.
The 21-year-old further disclosed that he hopes the team is able to secure promotion to play in the Bundesliga at the end of the season.
“Hopefully we can earn promotion to the Bundesliga or make it to the playoffs”, he added.
Hans Nunoo Sarpei has made 18 appearances this season and has helped Greuther Fürth in their quest to qualify from the 2. Bundesliga. The team currently sits 5th on the standings of the division and 7 points behind the play-off spot.
