Norwegian Toppserien side Avaldsnes IL have completed the signing of Ghanaian striker Evelyn Badu from Hasaacas Ladies.

The 19-year-old joins the club on a two and-a-half year deal after successful negotiations.

Badu, who has represented Ghana at U17 and U20 levels, led Hasaacas Ladies to win a domestic quadruple in 2021.

She helped the Ghanaian club to the maiden TotalEnergies CAF Women's Champions League final in Egypt, where she won the Best Player of the Tournament and Golden Boot with five goals.

On international level, Badu was the heroine as Ghana past Zambia into the fourth round of the African qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup.

Her remarkable feat at the CAF Women's Champions League has seen the teenage sensation branded as one of the hottest prospects from Africa.

The 2022 Norwegian Toppserien season will commence in May.
