Former Ghana midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has taken a swipe at Samuel Anim Addo for failing to manage Matthew Cudjoe properly.
The 19-year-old was tipped to excel at the just ended 2021 CAF U-20 Championship which was hosted in Mauritania but failed to perform.
But Agyemang Badu speaking in an interview believes the hype has gotten into the head of the young talent which needs to be controlled before we lose such a talent.
"He had a lot of attention from Kotoko and his visit to Bayern Munich for trials but I think the hype has gotten into his head and he seems to be losing focus," he told Adanseɛ Sports.
"His agents should sit him down and let him know he has more to achieve and he has the talent to be great.
"He [Matthew Cudjoe] shouldn't allow the hype to get into his head and he must also do extra training to keep his fitness, technical and tactical awareness as a player," he added.
Cudjoe was well recognized following his loan spell at Asante Kotoko.
He was tipped for greatness but the aura around him seems to be fading away.
