Former Asante Kotoko striker, Eric Bekoe has likened playmaker, Fabio Gama to Barcelona and Argentine superstar, Lionel Messi.
Gama, who joined the Porcupine Warriors prior to the start of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League has been a livewire for the club.
The Brazilian has been impressive in his debut season for the club.
Gama has been applauded by many due to his composure, his control on the ball and his reading of the game.
And Bekoe, who won the top flight with the club during his stay believes the 28-year-old is a good player and possesses the qualities of Messi making it difficult for opponents to play against him.
"Fabio Gama is like the Lionel Messi type of player," he said as reported by 3Sports.
"When the ball reaches the attacking third, you will need to find him because he is a good passer of the ball, a good controller of the ball and he has all the components," he added.
Fabio Gama came to rescue of Asante Kotoko in their matchday 28 games against Ashgold.
The midfielder scored the only goal of the game on the 22nd minute to help the Reds pocket all three points on Sunday.
Gama will be hoping to continue his sweet play when they travel to the Theatre of Dreams to play Inter Allies in the matchday 29 games this weekend.
