Black Satellites coach, Samuel Boadu has expressed admiration for Samuel Boadu's contributions to the team's development.

Ofei, who formerly served as assistant to Boadu, lauded the groundwork laid by the former Hearts of Oak coach before Ofei's appointment as the head coach of the Ghana U-20 side.

However, the Belgian-trained coach steered the team to clinch gold at the recent 13th African Games in the men's football category.

Reflecting on this achievement, Ofei credited Boadu for establishing a strong foundation upon which the team's success was built.

"Samuel Boadu laid the foundation for this team because when I was appointed, he guided me and helped me to understand Ghana football. I must praise him for helping us to win the African Games," Ofei remarked during an interview with Asempa FM as monitored by Footballghana.com.

Recognizing Boadu's track record of success with clubs like Hearts of Oak and Berekum Chelsea, Ofei commended his colleague's contributions to Ghanaian football.

The Black Satellites secured a hard-fought victory in the final of the men's football tournament, edging out Uganda with a 1-0 win, courtesy of Jerry Afriyie's decisive goal in the 90th minute.
