Hearts 5-0 defeat to WAFA is their worse in the last five decades

Accra Hearts of Oak suffered their heaviest defeat in the club's history on Sunday June 4th at the Sogakope Park.

WAFA mauled Hearts 5-0 in a Ghana Premier League game, a game many phobians fan thought there were going to get a good result following their first round performance  over WAFA at the Accra Stadium.

But the academy boys made things difficult for the phobians at the Sogakope Park.

WAFA playmaker Daniel Lomotey hit a brace with the other goals coming Majeed Ashimaru, Ibrahim Abdulwahab and Ibrahim Abukari.

This was Hearts of Oak worst ever defeat since the Ghana League started in 1957.

Hearts of Oak have experienced similar humiliations in the past, but not on the scale of the drubbing that they had to endure under WAFA.
