Hearts Acting MD Vincent Odotei quits post to concentrate on political career

Accra Hearts of Oak Acting Managing Director Vincent Sowah Odotei has left his post at the club to concentrate on his political career.

Odotei told Accra based radio station Asempa FM after their 1-0 win over Kotoko that “I’ve decided to let go my position as the head but I’m not leaving the club, I’m just changing my role because operationally I will not be able to combine it with other things but I will still hold my position in the management board, and continue to work behind the scene,”

“I love this club and its fans so much, I’m sure they are elated today because last Wednesday we disappointed them but I thank them for coming to cheer the players on in this game.”

Vincent Sowah Odotei who rejoined the club following the departure of Gerald Ankrah is now the Member of Parliament for La Dadekotopong constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
