Hearts captain Robin Gnagne to stay for one more season

Heart of Oak captain Robin Gnagne will not be put on transfer after agreeing to sign a one-year contract extension.

The Ivorian centre-back had a year left on his contract and the new deal will see him at the club for two years.

Gnagne was reported to leave the club after failing to help the team win last season’s Ghana Premier League title.

"Gnagne and his manager have agreed to on the financial terms, as well as the one-year contract extension and so come Tuesday (tomorrow) he will come and sign," a club source is quoted by the Graphic Sports.

The tough-tackling defender is expected to put pen to paper on Tuesday in Accra.
