Accra Hearts of Oak have opened talks with midfielder Saban Laryea on renewing his contract at the club.
Local media reports suggest the club have already met representatives of the player to sign a new deal.
Laryea who was a key member of the team during coach Kenichi Yatshuhashi's era was reported to be on his way out following the arrival of Daniel Kodie.
But it is understood the management of the club wants him to stay by renewing his expired contract.
