Hearts of Oak defender Insuah Musah has stated that talks that he does not deserve the GPL best defender are misplaced.
Musah was crowned best defender at this year’s Ghana Premier League Awards on Friday.
Many people were surprised the award went to the Hearts defender at the expense of Abdul Bashiru of Dreams FC who was a nominee for the ultimate award and Amos Frimpong of Asante Kotoko
Inusah Musah in an interview with the media said he merit the best defender of the year Award.
“I am really happy, I worked hard for it, I think I deserve it, although my competitors also played well, I think I derseve it and the organizers saw my performance so I really happy,” he said.
